Daily Prompt: The Satisfaction of a List
Here they are, in all their glory:
1. First among equals: The Kabbalah Deck, Pathway to the Soul by rabbi Edward Hoffman – probably the only “kosher” Kabbalah deck around (besides KC’s 72 Names of God cards which are not exactly a deck, but a prayer in a form of cards.)
2. Beautifully illustrated and dead-on accurate Symbolon Oracle which comes with the creepiest little white book in existence!
3. I Ching by Klaus Holitzka, the Book of Changes illustrated in traditional Chinese watercolor paintings;
4. Law of Attraction Cards published by Hay House with great affirmations and even greater illustrations;
5. Moonstone oracle by my beautiful and talented friend from Germany – Morwenna Morasch;
6. Hard-to-find Lenormand, Baralho de Cartas Ciganas, a gift from Brazilian friend;
7. Piatnik’s Gypsies, Zigeuner Wahrsagekarten, the deck i inherited from my grandmother;
8. The Faeries Oracle by by Brian Froud and Jessica Macbeth:
9. Mindblowing Druid Animal Oracle:
10. And the latest addition to my All-Darlings Collection: an amazing Fortune Telling deck – Ryder’s Lenormand by genius eight years old artist – Ryder George who is visionary and a seer son of worldwide known spiritual counselor and a friend of mine – Rana George.
I am a third generation reader in our family – i’ve written on what is it like in The Fortune Teller – so i know what blessing it is… It’s not that we are passed some family secrets, unavailable to others – all hereditary readers i know of pass their knowledge to others happily, it’s that from an early age we are blessed to be free from fear.
In Ryder George’s case – this unlimited vision comes together with an amazing artistic talent.
Blessed Be

Nice list. I recently discovered a new ‘oracle’ but not really and oracle that I liked a lot. The Rory’s Story cubes. I think they are for storytelling with kids, or as writing prompts but kinda nice to use as daily advice too.
I tried to make my own set of Kabbalah flash-cards but got side-tracked. And they would never have been as pretty as those above.
Ohhh, you ENABLER!!! I am off to check these cubes you mention!!! 😀 I just saw a new post on your blog, YET ANOTHER DECK FROM MY WISH LIST!!! You are killing me, sweetie lolol! xxxx
I think you will love the cubes, I got two sets, each have 9 dice in them. I got the basic (orange) one and the Voyage (green) set and had a lot of fun with them. yeah the Book of thoth is really nice, but now I want that Grimaud Grand Etteilla that is oop and hard to find…
Ohh, these are cutesy!!! OMG, “now I want that Grimaud Grand Etteilla”… Sweet, DOES IT EVER END?! (I know – IT DOES NOT lolol!!!) xxxx
Nice. Had to look up the Symbolon, have not heard of that one before.Wow to the deck you inherited from your grandmother, lucky you. I have the Brian Froud/ Jessica Macbeth, love the art & Jessica’s writing on his deck. Was lucky enough to pick up Brian Froud’s first hardcover book, in excellent condition on faeries etc, that include many black & white sketches in a rather large book in a charity shop many years ago. I really like his artwork.How wonderful that you mentioned Rana’s son & displayed his deck… hope he gets to see it here,. I could go on, though suffice to say that it was most enjoyable looking at ALL of your oracles 🙂
Thank you, Jim! Aww, i am a die-hard fan of Faeries too! We have a small fb exchange group, we swap Faery readings couple of times a year, do wave if you’d like me to add you! 😀 Oh, and i did pm the link to Rana OF COURSE ❤
I love the gipsy and the animal cards the best but the I Ching show their beauty in the simplistic. Not that I know what any of them mean, that’s your gift, but the art work is pure.
I can see why you have the collection addiction. Each card not only tells a story but can stand alone as a work of art. I imagine the difficulty would be thick, creating a consistent flow between so many pieces. I love it when you share them 🙂
Thank you so much, dear Amy! OMG, lol – i can’t read most of them without a book! Most of the oracles you can interpret intuitively (especially the Symbolon!) and with your imagination, creativity and the gift for words, you are a born reader, trust me on that! Myself, i passed the cards – or a cup to an absolute newbie only several times in my life… and i must tell you i got it right every single time, they started reading right away! The system of Tarot can be learned – and so the combos of Lenormand, but the gift… it’s there or it’s not. 😉
I love it when I read those words “it’s there or it’s not”. It’s like in my mind I’m sitting next to you at a cafe. Your voice changes as you become serious and I see your eyebrows scrunch in. It amazes me that you can do that, become so focused so quickly.
Maybe one day you will teach me.
Yay, i hope we will have a coffee irl one day! So can you, we can only see in others that which we developed ourselves, you’ll be an amazing reader, just wait and sea (and your own romance with the cards had started long ago, see – it’s an illusion that we choose Tarot… *IT* chooses us ;))
I don’t see why we would not get the chance. Distance is only a technicality easily solved.
Amy, you right. I was praying for Boston last night and i am crying since i woke up today (it’s 10am over here), i feel the same as if it happened in my neighborhood, to the people i know i person… The borders are human invention – and with internet and ever faster planes – i believe not that far into the future, having coffee together will be question of couple of hours xxxx
Interesting post ,l liked all the details.Thank you for liking my post ( Do you love me ) My Grandma use to read the sings in Turkish coffee cups for the guests.Regards.jalal
I like many of your posts, Jalal (actually all of them that i read so far :)) My granma read coffee residue too, i can too, but i am not all that good (it’s different than Tarot or some of these oracles, it’s an all another set of skills ;))
I’m such a novice, Lena. The only one on the list that I know of is I Ching so I’m heading off now to check out the links to the others. 😀
Dianne, you are a genius writer and such a channel for the Light, i do doubt you need any of those… 😉 xxxx
of all the cards I find I am drawn to the Kabbalah Deck I find the more simplistic the more soothing for me. I want to thank my future daughter-in-law for directing me to your lovely site.
Thank you so much, Carol! I believe you will love working with it, in our tradition we believe that those letters are the energies (angels) which created this world – and this deck is really very special indeed. Thank you for reading and commenting and Blessings for your future daughter in law and all your family!
Cool! Thank for sharing – I’d love to get my mittens on that Moonstone Oracle! 😀 What is it you find so creepy about the Symbolon LWB?
Thank you, dearest Lisa! Oyy, i am in writers residence in Bosnia, don’t have it on me now, but promise to type some of it for you when i get home… Unbelievable, really; interpretations go like “you know you’ve sinned, now… blah blah” Stuff like that 😉
